GERD?!?Duh?!?

hayyyzz......this past few weeks, actually a month already, i got sick....as in...terribly sick! it started when i had my menstruation period....i got nausea, then to hyperacidity wherein i wasn't able to join my Basic Life Support Seminar by the Red Cross Team....grrrr :(.....but its okay, i can't do anything, i just got sick and so i have to accept it!! .... well, then, good thing it is the holy week, and so i have holidays from my PDN training!! but then, i got sick again and this time, i had heartburn for two consecutive days, plus nausea and hypersalivation!! and so i made a research regarding heartburn and something to do with the esophagus, and so i found this topic about GERD or GastroEsophageal Reflux Disease.......maybe you're also experiencing it...and can relate with me..huhuhu..:(

Gastroesophageal reflux is a physical condition in which acid from the stomach flows backward up into the esophagus. People will experience heartburn symptoms when excessive amounts of acid reflux into the esophagus. Many describe heartburn as a feeling of burning discomfort, localized behind the breastbone, that moves up toward the neck and throat. Some even experience the bitter or sour taste of the acid in the back of the throat. The burning and pressure symptoms of heartburn can last for several hours and often worsen after eating food. All of us may have occasional heartburn. However, frequent heartburn (two or more times a week), food sticking, blood or weight loss may be associated with a more severe problem known as gastroesophageal reflux disease or GERD.

tsk...tsk...tsk....and so to find out if my diagnosis is correct, i went to the hospital for medical check-up, AT first, the ROD thought that i maybe pregnant, asking my last menstrual period...heller?i think i know naman bout it...duh?!?....whatever!? and so i told her, i just had my period few days ago, and so she thought it was dysmenorrhea, and so i told her again, that i had my check-up recently with a pediatrician and told me that i had an acute gastritis.....GoSH! the ROD is so funny! can't she wait?! she's making a diagnosis quickly without finishing my story!! is she on a hurry or what? hahaha!!! well, anyway, she had me on a physical assessment, and had a urinalysis, and so she told me i might have GERD, and prescribed me two antacid medications,......well, anyways, i took the medications for one week, and i'm back to my normal daily activities, back to my training, thinking i would be okay after a week, but then i got sick again, back to nausea, hypersalivation and heartburn!! i became paranoid, because i haven't been sick like this before!!! its been two weeks!!! and soooooooo i seek again for medical attention but this time i need a Gastro Specialist!! and so there, my physician told me that the duration of treatment of Acid reflux might be 4-6 weeks or most probably two months!! WHat the heck?!?.....huhuhuhu :(
And the treatment regimen would be based on lifestyle modification and medications....>>Lifestyle modifications such as avoiding greasy or spicy foods, sour foods, etc. that could precipitate heartburn!!! and i should not eat 2-3 hours before sleep!!! hayss.....what a life!!! NOW, i'm still on my recovery phase!! hoping and praying to God that i will be okay soon and be able to go to my destination someday!! haysss.......That's Life folks!

Back Being a Nurse?!?

Well...well!!....im going to be a PDN (Private Duty Nursing) Trainee for two months..hmm..not sure?!!LOL..... anyways...i guess i have to prepare myself...well, after being gone in the Nursing Scenery!! i guess i need to recap or refresh myself.....! LOL!....i've been gone in the Nursing WOrld for almost a year?! yes....its almost a year!! hahaha!.......well, where have i been? i've been in the Computer World!!! hahaha!! i'm going to start my first duty in the floor area!! hahaha!! and i'm going to be a charge nurse!! weeeeeeeeehhh!! pretty exciting!!!

It's one of the best romantic comedy series.....the house, the film location are the best! its like my dream house actually!.......its quite different to other kdramas i've watched ......Song Hye Kyo is my favorite korean actress....coz she's so damn pretty and Rain....my gosh....'he's a superstar!'...i luv his voice!....they made such a lovely couple!

They Kiss Again (ISWAK 2) ADDICT!!!

~~>>every week i have to wait for every episode of They Kiss Again Starring Joe Cheng and Ariel Lin being uploaded at www.overstream.net....coz its currently airing in Taiwan and only shown there every Sunday......GRRRR!!!!.....so i have one long week to wait!! nyahahaha!!....They Kiss Again is actually the sequel of the drama series 'It Started With a Kiss'.....which is so much funny and hilarious!!! It's actually based on the manga series 'Itazura na Kiss'......If you've watched the whole episodes of ISWAK......you'll probably love the sequel!!! Much Cuter!! Much Sweeter!! Same Casts and of course added new ones!! So much hilarious especially the character of 'Xiang Qin'.....and i luv 'Zhi Shu' on this sequel rather than the ISWAK....he is so sweet... though he is sometimes cold to Xiang Qin ....hahaha!!! well, overall its a great series!!! hayzzz.. better watch the next exciting episode next week!!weeeeehhh!!!

October 2007-->>PNA National Convention EXPERIENCE!!!

The PNA National Convention-->>held at Ketkai Mall Atrium, Cagayan de Oro City-->>hmm..pretty exciting right?!..hahaha!!...it was my first time to attend such congregation....after being officially a Registered Nurse!nyahahaha!!....meeting well-known professionals in the Nursing Community~~~board members, presidents of some associations, different deans and so much chuva....~~~d funny thing is dat..kami lng ata along wid my skulm8s sa CMAFI ang pinakabata dun!!....and take note!! we don't even have any work experiences yet.. LOL!....well, attending such congregation is such a great experience though, ang expensive ng registration...okay lng yun.....the experience is worth it.....maybe in the future...we won't be able to attend mga such events.....coz we will be on our separate ways and has different plans in the future!! blah..blah ....blah!!!.....

~~~>>FIRST day of Convention-->>i woke up at around 4 am in d mawnin...its really hard for me to woke up dat early!hahaha...anyway, i had to wake up that early coz we're gonna travel pa to CDO....dat's almost 2 hours away from Iligan....and then we went to our Lodging haus.....which is quite funny!! bSTA!!! funny jud!!.....d location of the said lodging haus is near d market.....its in the center of the city anyway and quite near to our destination which is in the Ketkai Mall....& according to kuya vic...its the cheapest daw lodging haus so far......hahaha!!! so there! pipol from nearby are knda looking at us....becoz dat lodging house pala...is knda known for "short-time!"...hahaha....if u get wat i mean!!.....u know lovers place..somethin lyk dat!! nyahahaha!!....so anyway, we got to check in first and leave our things there for a while and ready to leave!!!

....And so upon arriving there....traditional dancers from CDO welcomed us and then we line-up for some knda registration and good thing we saw Ate Lai....and she helped us to get through quickly......its good to have connections!! hahaha!!!....anyway, while we are @ d second floor for registration....oh weLL...we saw Carlo Maceda...hahaha......he was knda tall and so 'puti nya'.....and he's with Carl Balita.......hahaha...knda lucky to see them both near!! and yeahh yun! Anyways....finally we're DONE!! woooooohhh^_^_^ dat was a long process!!! ....and so yun......we met some clinical instructors from xavier univ....hahaha..char?!nyahahaha!!!and so yun....start na yung program.....and if mejo bored na kami....we get out to go malling.....hahaha!!.....to make it short ~~>finally d program was over but we have to come back para sa evening event.....wherein...the theme is somethin lyk retro..bsta something lyk dat and i heard dat jennylyn mercado will be coming to promote their movie "Nars".....hmmm.....?!?...anyway, back to our lodge, getting ready for the evening event and we're supposed to dress in retro...but we are thinking na only a few will dress like dat? maybe?!hahaha!!

The other one is gay but i think girl yung isa?!....hahaha!!...
